openAI drops a turd
Pretty hard to understand how far off the mark ChatGPT can get given the plethora of studies on the bivalent boosters based only upon the BA.1 and BA.5 strains
But, here you go:
The “empathy” part must refer to the “Gee, I’m so sorry you are undeniably stupid.” conclusion I’d draw and the “understanding” part must refer to the “Gosh, you really have been gaslit more than I would have ever expected!” observation I’d undoubtedly make. And how does ChatGBT not know by now that natural immunity has been proven to be as if not more effective in protecting an individual with reinfection and subsequent Covid-19 symptoms? With the cascading amount of studies showing the increasing emergence of immune exhaustion and increased deaths and hospitalizations, ChatGBT’s conclusions about boosters being “the best defense” and their ability to “reduce the risk of severe illness or death” is the height of mis- and disinformation I’ve ever expected to see. I’d provide the citations, but that would cause this post to be twice as long (and look like I was showing off). I think the reader will have caught my drift without listing them. ChatGBT is definitely only as good as the human’s level of knowledge behind it. At least on this topic.
The redundancy in the use of the word “ongoing” in the last sentence was the icing on this god-awful cake openAI barfed up for me. Wow. I was disappointed with my first encounter with ChatGBT. Maybe I should have stuck with “Please discuss why the Detroit Lions will never win a Super Bowl” as my first attempt using ChatGBT. I always like references to my boyhood hero, Bobby Layne, and his famous (now infamous since it’s been 65 years) prediction that the Lions wouldn’t win a championship for fifty years. 1 Now, THAT requires a citation!

That response is everything I complain about! Thanks for linking!
